Building The New Car

Pre-season preparation. We wanted to show over a period of weeks the new car being built.

The shell has been delivered. It's very lightweight. 15/12/02	The engine bay being prepared 20/12/02	The original petrol tank filler hole has been filled in and the new one created.

The inside is as empty as it can get ready for the roll cage to be added.	The roll cage has been fitted inside the car 05/02/03	showing the rollcage from the front of the car

the cage has very hide sides to protect the drivers from a side impact	the rollcage gives the car stiffness and stability

the inside has been painted 09/02/03	the colour is a little brighter than last year	next stop will be painting the outside

outside all painted 12/02/03	next step is the wiring looms followed	by the air jack lines and dashboard

some of the control lines are in place 03/03/03	fire extinguisher, fuel system	steering column and handbrake

the dash is complete with all the control systems 29/03/03	the engine is nearly complete as the pistons have arrived 29/03/03
