Brands Hatch Test and Media Day 24th March

This was the first time Stuart and Steve have participated in a GT Media day as they joined the series part way through last year. All 4 JWRacing cars and 8 drivers turned up at Brands Hatch for the first timed practice.

Mid way through the morning session the cars were sent out behind a Peugot with various photographers in the boot including Ruth Alexander and one of her shots showing Steve in the car is shown here.

Steve and Stuart were also interviewed for the the TV for the GT program to be shown soon.

Once the photographs and interviews were completed the serious business of testing was underway. They were given the job of running in driveshafts in the morning but started pushing the car in the changeable afternoon conditions of a drying track.

The car has taken a little getting used to. The ABS is very good allowing really late braking and they can take Graham Hill Bend faster but learning when to accelerate out of the corners can be tricky.

Both drivers were pleased with their times at the end of the day and are now looking forward to Donington and the first race.
