Centre Stage at Silverstone 5th -6th May

At Silverstone this weekend , May 4th-6th, Jaguar is going to be the centre of attraction.

With the Jaguar XKR GT3, built and developed by Apex Motorsport, Jaguar will make its long awaited return to GT racing. Experienced sportscar racer Andy Wallace has worked a lot on the car during the winter, and like a lot of British fans, he will be at Silverstone to see the XKR make its debut.

The task has been to take a road car with classic lines and convert it to a FIA GT3 challenger and all within four months. Apex Motorsport have accepted the challenge and have produced a remarkable car and in such a short period of time.

This weekend, Stuart Scott and Chris Ryan will experience the Jaguar XKR GT3 for the first time and will hope to do justice to the hard working engineers at Apex. They have been working 24 hour days for the last few weeks and our goal this weekend has to be to bring it home at the end of both races . This would be the least we could do for them all.
