A GT4 Mustang For 2009
Stuart Scott has rarely chosen the obvious route when it comes to his racing – witness the VW Golf, the V8 Star Jaguar, and most recently the GT3 Jaguar XKR – and for 2009 CBT will again bring something new to the mix as it returns to the British GT Championship after a three year break.
Scott’s brand new Mustang is on its way from Canada and arrives at Multimatic Motorsport in Thetford at the end of this month. Xtreme Graphics will have the job of sorting a livery for the car and we are assured by the car’s owner that it will be a long way removed from the drabness that has characterised the FIA GT4 grids this year. A decision will be made soon on who will run the car in ’09, and discussions are underway with potential drivers. The intention is to run selected rounds of the GT4 European Cup, in addition to the BGT, and an entry to the Britcar 24 in October is also envisaged. Before all this, though, two tests are planned for Spain early in the year.
