JORDAN SHAKES DOWN MUSTANG

 

Mike Jordan had his first shakedown test this week in the Ford Mustang GT4 that he will share with Stuart Scott and Steve Wood in the 2009 Britcar Production Championship.

 

With backing from Cambridge Business Travel, the car is to be run by JordanSport.co.uk in a full Britcar program, and Jordan gave the car a first test at MIRA on Monday (16 February).

 

During three hours of running the car ran faultlessly and Jordan reported that it was huge fun to drive. “It’s an absolute scream and it was a great shakedown. It handled better out of the box than I thought it would and it is so easy to drive.”

 

Towards the end of the day, Mike was able to take the car onto the Dunlop handling course and further explore it’s capabilities.

 

“I am really upbeat about racing the car and I already love it to bits,” said Mike, who will be joined by Scott and Wood for more testing over the next three weeks, ahead of the opening race at Silverstone on 28 March
