Thoughts for 2010 Having focused on running the Ford Mustang FR500 GT4 in the Britcar Production class this season, Stuart Scott is now weighing up his options for 2010; and one of those involves the two GT3 Jaguar XKRSs that are now in his possession, having previously been run by Apex Motorsport..
One of the cars had its first post-ApexMotorsport shakedown at Mallory Park last Wednesday, as the CBT boss pondered the future; "JordanSport have gone through the Apex Motorsport car and made sure that it was all running properly and safe," said Scott. "Mike was at the controls today and was very complimentary of the work that Apex Motorsport did on the car but was aware of some changes that he would like to make.
“Where we go from here I have no idea, due to the uncertainties of the homologation and the demise of Apex, and without support from Jaguar it could be a big no; but there is definitely unfinished business here."
We will deffinately be running the Ford Mustang in Britcar again next year as it was always going to be a two year program and JordanSport are currently looking at some small changes that will make the Mustang even more competitive.
